James Purdey matched pair deluxe 12ga 28” Imp Mod/ Full. Consecutive serial numbers gold one and two on each gun. These magnificent pair of guns is exhibition engraved by the master KC Hunt. Gun number one features deep sculpture engraving with raised gold relief grouse on left lock. Right lock features two raised gold Hares with raised gold portrait full body Spaniel on a case harden frame. Gun number two features three raised gold relief geese on the right lock two raised ducks and a raised gold spaniel on the bottom. All surround by the deep sculptures engraving imaginable. Beavertail forearms, double trigger AE checkered butts side clips. Third fastener 3 ¼ ton proof the finest Turkish walnut matched blanks imaginable. These magnificent pair of exhibition guns is cased in a full leather trunk case with every accessories extra firing pins, a superb set of guns the finest available.
