Heel & Toe Plates
Heel and toe plates for shotguns and rifles provide an attractive surface for engraving as well as providing sufficient space for the stockmaker to embellish the butt of the stock.   May be blued, case colored, or hardened and polished.  Counterbored for, and supplied with, two screws.  Heel:  1 ¼” to end of butt, 1 ¾” to tip of spur, maximum width 1 ”,  .100” thick.  Toe:  1 9/16” long, maximum width 1 ½” wide, .100” thick.  Weight 1 ½ ounces.
